Minh Tri Wood and efforts to supply supply for the global thirst for wood pellets
Minh Tri Wood is a company that manufactures and supplies a variety of woodworking products on the market, including wood pellets. In 2013, 2014, wood pellets also caused a fever in the market, similar to the present time. At that time, Minh Tri Wood invested in a modern wood pellet factory in Binh Duong with a European standard production line of Andritz Group, Austria. However, the project was only operated for a short time and had to be halted due to the declining world demand for this item.
The project was only restarted when the global energy thirst occurred in early 2022. Minh Tri Wood took advantage of the existing line of Andritz Group, Austria and invested in a modern line of Kahl, Germany. with a total capital of 3 million USD. The plant is expected to produce a total capacity of about 60,000 tons/year. Currently, the actual operating capacity is about 60%, due to large fluctuations in the supply of raw materials in Vietnam. Although the supply of raw materials is difficult, Minh Tri Wood has signed many contracts with export partners to the Japanese and Korean markets. In the first 6 months of the year, Minh Tri Wood has exported more than 300 tons of wood pellets according to the European ENPlus A2 standard. All thanks to the prestige and quality that Minh Tri Wood has built in the past time. In the near future, Minh Tri Wood is expected to purchase more raw materials as well as raise the quality standard to ENPlus A1 (the highest standard of the European market), so that the product can be accessible to more customers.
